Our objective is to provide a more environmental solution to international parcel delivery. We don't fly cargo planes (as a matter of fact, we don't have any), but we believe passenger planes have room for more cargo!

Pickeru is a platform where international travelers can meet with parcel senders, carry small items and make some cash in return.

 

This way we aim to provide a more affordable option to carry a parcel to its destination while reducing the high travel costs for travelers.

How It Works

Install the Pickeru app and create sender profile.

Download the Pickeru app on App Store or Google Play. Create your account with your phone number. 

Create a parcel

Hit the + button on the top right corner of your main screen to create a New Parcel.

Enter the parcel details and the payment method details, and save.

Match, Pay & Send

Once your Parcel is listed and matched to a Picker, the payment method on file will be charged in the amount stated in your pending balance (for a full breakdown of fees and charges, see the FAQs section). After the payment is processed, you'll be able to communicate with the Picker and send or hand over the shipment to Picker. 

Waiting for delivery

Your Parcels are delivered with Pickeru guarantee. You can check and track the status of your delivery in the app. 

Meet and Receive

Recipient meets the Picker at the destination (or the Picker ships the item domestically upon arrival).

  • What is Pickeru?
    Pickeru is an international parcel delivery marketplace. We bring parcel senders and travelers together to provide more affordable delviery option for senders while offering to help reduce the flight costs for travelers.
  • How does it work?
    A Picker (traveler) lists their flight and a Sender lists their parcels with destination, pickup location, receiver info, and service fee offered together with some details about the parcel. Then parties can search and reach out to each other, chat and agree on a delivery.
  • Is it safe to use Pickeru?
    Using Pickeru is safe because we provide a secure payment system process fees and payments. If you are a sender, your payment won’t be transferred to the traveler until you receive and confirm your order. If you are a Picker, your earnings will be transferred to your account within 24 hours of delivery completion.
  • How do you handle customs?
    The carried items have to comply with the departure and arrival countries' customs regulations. If Picker pays for customs at the destination border, Sender is charged in the stated amount with proof of payment to reimburse Picker. Sender takes full responsibility for the items they ship. Pickeru does not offer any coverage for customs related delivery failures.
  • How does the payment work?
    Pickeru operates as a guarantor between the parties. Sender enters credit card or bank account info prior to listing their items. Pickeru will charge the offered service fee and other charges upon matching a Picker. Pickeru holds the Picker's service fee until the completion of the delivery. Once the delivery is complete, Picker will see their balance in their Earnings&Billing screen and the balance will be available to withdraw 24 hours after delivery completion. PS. Please note that all payments are processed manually for the time being.
  • What can I send?
    Any item that is allowed by domestic and international shipping regulations and customes that can be ither carried in a carry-on luggage or check in baggage can be shipped via Pickeru.
  • What items are prohibited to send?
    Please refer to your country's customs website for a full list of prohibited items to your destination country. For general info about prohibited items, visit here: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all
  • What if my parcel is not delivered?
    In case a parcel is not delivered due to Picker's failure to complete the delivery, Pickeru offers up to $100 coverage at no cost. If the item face value or fair market value is more than $100, Sender has the option to purchase additional coverage at a cost of 2% of the stated item value during listing. Please note that, we are unable to offer higher coverage than the item's face value.
  • How can I send my shipment to the Picker?
    Sender will see Picker's preferred receiving method in the Flight details. Options are: Airport Meet-up, Domestic Shipping to Picker, Other (Meet at a location). Once matched, Sender and Picker can communicate and finalize the preferred pick up and drop off methods.
  • What if the Picker decides not to carry my parcel?
    Picker has the right to decline any parcel prior to receiving them. Once received, Picker has the right refuse if the parcel content is other than agreed and the Picker feels unsafe about the item. Please not that in case of the parcel dimensions or weight is different from the listing, Pickeru has the right to charge the payment method on file up to $10 per lbs ($20 per kg) to compensate Picker costs.
  • How do you determine a parcel's shipment cost?
    Pickeru doesn't have any pre-determined, standard Picker delivery fees for any listed item. As with any marketplace, the market standards are determined by the users at Pickeru.
  • How can the recipient collect the shipment at the destination?
    Sender has the option to state their preferred delivery method for both the pick up and drop off. Options are: Airport Meet-up, Domestic Shipping to Recipient, Other (Meet at a location upon arrival).
  • How do I pay for my shipment?
    Sender enters the card info in the Pickeru app. Payment is not charged until the parcel is matched with a Picker. Once matched, Pickeru charges the Picker reward and other fees. The total amount to be charge is stated while listing the item. Please not that at this moment, payments are processes manually by sharing bank info for direct deposit with the Sender.
  • How will I receive the parcel from Sender?
    Picker has the option to state their preferred method of receiving. Options are: Airport Meet-up, Domestic Shipping (to my address), Other (Meet at a location).
  • What items are prohibited to carry?
    Please refer to your airline company's website for a full list of prohibited items to your destination country. For general info about prohibited items, visit here: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all
  • How do I know the parcel I carry doesn't contain a prohibited item?
    Pickeru is strictly against illegal activities and transfer of illegal items. Here's a general list of forbidden items: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all For a full list of items forbidden to carry in the destination country borders, please visit your destination country's customs office website. As the Picker, you have the right to open any parcel (except that it's directly shipped from the manufacturer to the Picker's home address and is sealed) and check the parcel content. You have the right to refuse any parcel you feel uncomfortable about.
  • How will I deliver the parcel to the recipient?
    Picker can see the Sender's preferred delivery method in Parcel details. Options are: Airport Meet-up, Domestic Shipping to Recipient, Other (Meet at a location upon arrival).
  • What happens if the sender or receiver doesn't meet me at the airport as agreed?
    In case of a Sender no-show or not sending the item, Sender will be charged a $20 cancellation fee and that amount will be paid to Picker. If the no-show happens at the arrival destination by the receiver, Picker keeps the item to ship it to the address provided. Domestic shipping costs will be compensated by the Sender.
  • How do I receive payment?
    Picker receives payment within 24 hours after the delivery completion. Payments are made as a direct deposit to the account number in the Pickeru billing&earnings section. Please not that at this moment, payments are processes manually by sharing bank info for direct deposit with Pickeru
  • How much can I earn per trip?
    There's no pre-determined minimums or maximums that a Picker can earn per trip. The amount earned depends on the items carried, destination, and the reward amounts offered by Senders.
